Al Barkah Credit & Consumer Co-operative Society Ltd. has been welcoming delegations, community leaders, religious scholars, and entrepreneurs from across Gujarat who wish to understand and adopt our interest-free cooperative finance model. Below are the highlights of recent branch visits.
Godhra Delegation Visit
Date: 3 June 2025
Location: Head Office — Rakhial Branch, Ahmedabad
A delegation from Godhra city visited the main office (Rakhial Branch) of Al Barkah Society to understand the interest-free model of Al Barkah Credit and Consumer Co-operative Society.
The delegation included respected community leaders: Maulana Muzmil Bhagliya Saheb, Hafiz Murtaq Sheikh Saheb, Mufti Iqbal Huri Saheb, Umar Farooq Patel Saheb, Irfan Saheb, Rauf Haji Bhatol Saheb, and Mahfooz Kaloli Saheb.
Al Barkah President Vaseef Hussain Saheb welcomed the delegation and explained the Society’s interest-free model in detail. Branch staff Mushir Alam explained all deposit and loan products. The delegation appreciated the model and suggested starting a similar Society in Godhra city soon.

Baroda Orientation Meeting
Date: 3 November 2024
Location: Baroda, Gujarat
An orientation meeting was organized in Baroda city to explore opening a new branch of Al Barkah Credit Society. The main purpose of this meeting was to discuss the Society’s mission, operational strategy, member benefits, team responsibilities, and next steps in detail.
A team of 10 members from Baroda city attended this meeting, including three women. The team included Chartered Accountants, doctors, teachers, and social workers. This team will play an important role in the planning, establishment, and management of the new branch.
Masjid Imams and Ulema Delegation — Ahmedabad
Location: Rakhial Branch, Ahmedabad
A delegation of Masjid Imams and Ulema-e-Ikram from the Narol area of Ahmedabad city visited the Rakhial Branch of Al Barkah Society to understand the interest-free cooperative model.
Al Barkah Branch Manager Tanveer Alam Qureshi welcomed the delegation and provided complete information about the Society’s interest-free model. All deposit and loan products were explained in detail.
The delegation included: Mufti Mohammad Akram Saheb Kasmi, Mufti Mohammad Harun Saheb Kasmi, Mufti Mohammad Maaz Memon Saheb, Maulana Abdul Majid Saheb, Maulana Moinuddin Saheb Faizani, Maulana Sameer Saheb, and Hafiz Abdul Majid Saheb.
